AGREEMENTS |
|
| |
- Authors submitting an abstract for the 7th Combined Meeting of the Orthopaedic Research Societies do so with the understanding that they will abide by the conditions, deadline policies, and the decisions of the Program Committee.
- All presentations are made with the understanding that there will be a complete explanation of material presented as per the submitted abstract.
- The presenting authors are responsible for ensuring presentation of the paper at the meeting and it is essential that all accepted abstract presenting authors register and pay the registration fee by July 20 (Tue), 2010.
- No two abstracts and/or presentations that share one or more authors may overlap significantly in content.
- The project must reflect original research.
- Abstracts must present results of work substantially performed prior to submission. Statements such as "data will be presented and discussed" are inappropriate: actual data (with statistical analysis when appropriate) must be included.
- Work which has been published at the time of the 7th Combined Meeting abstract submission deadline is not acceptable for submission / presentation at the 7th Combined Meeting.

 |
 |
TYPE OF PRESENTATION |
|
| |
- The Program Committee considers all presentations, whether oral or poster, to be of equal merit. Assignment is made to provide a balanced program and is not subject to changes.
- The abstracts for both oral and poster presentations will be listed in the program and published in the Transactions on CDROM.
- Presenting author may, and is encouraged to, bring an interpreter to assist them during the question and answer period following the oral presentation. Interpreters must register for the meeting and pay the registration fee.
- An impartial panel of qualified reviewers blindly evaluates the content of the abstracts. Due to the increasing technical complexity of abstracts, the Program Committee will designate at least 3 members to review abstracts that relate to their field of interest. Selection of abstracts will be made by the 7th Combined Meeting Program Committee, subject to confirmation by the organizing committee, whose decision is final.
