is a great honor and privilege to invite you to the Post IID
2008 Satellite International Meeting on Autoimmune Bullous Diseases,
which will be held at the Otsu Prince Hotel, Otsu, Shiga, Japan,
from 17th to 19th May, 2008, in association with the Post IID
2008 Satellite 5th Joint Meeting of SSSR (Society for Skin Structure
Research) and SCUR (Society for Cutaneous Ultrastructure Research).
The Otsu Prince Hotel is located in a beautiful waterfront location
overlooking the famously long Lake Biwa, and is only 20 min
by train from Kyoto central station. Charter buses will be prepared
to take us from the Kyoto International Conference Center to
the Otsu Prince Hotel after the meeting IID 2008 on May 17.
The aim of this meeting is to exchange and discuss recent
progresses on molecular pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment
for autoimmune bullous diseases. We are planning to have an
exciting and inspiring program, including some free communications.
We will have more time to discuss hot issues in a more relaxed
setting.
On behalf of the organizing committee, I hope that you will
extend your stay for two more nights after IID 2008 in the
Kyoto area, and enjoy delicious Japanese food and perhaps
some sightseeing as well as fulfilling further scientific
interests.
